A simple set of slides showing the components of the dashboard.
Download the Current Version for Window's AND Plug based Hosts .
The file InstallIvDashboard.exe will be downloaded using the link above. After saving the file on your system, run the installation program.
In the installer you can enter the IP address of the local or a remote Intravue(s) to install the dashboard in multiple locations.
You will get an error "The jar file failed: 1>", this is due to recent security hardening of the Apache web server.
There will be 2 .war files extracted from the installer.
Copy and Paste, or drag, the "DashboardAuthenticator.war" file to the \intravue\autoip\tomcat8\webapps folder.
This file must be copied first.
After a short delay a new folder will appear with the same name.
Repeat for the "ivDashboard.war" file.
If you have IntraVUE version 3.1.0 or 3.1.1
You will need to modify your web.xml file due to the security hardening.
This file is located in the folder \intravue\autoip\tomcat8\conf.
Open the file in notepad or other text editor and search for the work 'friki'.
You should find a line like the one below <param-value>/friki /ivs /skpi</param-value>>
Change it to look like this line <param-value>/friki /ivs /skpi /DashboardAuthenticator /ivDashboard</param-value>>Save the file and restart the Windows service "Apache Tomcat etomcat" in the services dialog.
If you are upgrading from a previous version, be sure to CLOSE ALL BROWSER WINDOWS after running the installation program to clear the browser's cache.
Browse to http://127.0.0.1:8765/ivDashboard to view the dashboard.
(Substitute the host's IP address if viewing remotely or viewing the IntraVUE Plug.)
