When you select this menu item from the Admin's System Menu a regular Intravue backup is made.
The name is the same as would have been created by using the menu Backup option.
This backup is then added to a zip folder with the same beginning name but having the file ending of 'zzz'.
This is really a 'zip' file, but the ending name is changed so it can pass through virus and email checking programs.
To this zip file a number of other files are added.
Some are configuration files and others are log files.
This files provide technical support and others a more complete picture of IntraVUE.
A dialog will be displayed with several options.
There are two main choices.
Transfer the archive to FTP Server
Download archive to computer
If you select the FTP option the zip file will be uploaded to a FTP server.
You may enter all the FTP server information in this dialog by unchecking the 'Use values configured in server' checkbox.
Otherwise, Intravue will attempt to make the transfer using settings for each of the displayed values in the ivserver.properties file.
After selecting the FTP option, the result of the FTP operation will be shown below the Confirm Download button (as in the image below).
If you select 'Download archive to Client' Intravue will prepare the download and then you will see text that IntraVUE is ready to download.
After you select the Confirm button, a windows dialog will allow you to open or save the file.
Select 'Save' and the next dialog will allow you to specify the folder of your choice.
You many even rename the file if you like.
